Corporate Partnership Program and Technology Adoption in Rural Schools

Corporate Partnership Program And Technology Adoption in Rural Schools (COPPATARS) is a unique Corporate Social Responsibility initiative at ESIL which aims at partnering with other corporate foundations, Corporate Social Responsibility departments of corporate's and NGOs to deliver technology enabled education to the rural schools of India. The program is built around unique strength of ESIL in developing digitized content, building information technology infrastructure and manpower training to enhance the learning environment at the rural school level.

COPPATARS is an unqiue CSR program which will be jointly developed by ESIL and the sponsoring organization(s) with a common mission of delivering high quality and digitized content to each of the rural schools. The schools can either be selected by ESIL or by the sponsoring organization. While the responsibility of ideating, planning, executing and monitoring of the program will be with ESIL, the cost of the initiatives will be jointly shared by both the organizations.

Empowering with Technology

The concept of empowerment of the rural schools is based on a value proposition which consists of developing infrastructure, digitized content and providing training to faculties for enhanced delivery. The digitized content will cover the key concepts and prescribed syllabus that will be loaded in the local server. The current teaching methodology through lecture centric mode is ill equipped to augment learning and hence reduces the overall interest of the student . COPPATARS will intervene by providing better learning environment and experience to students, provide opportunities for them to expand their knowledge and understanding of the subject taught.
