Mrs. Jansi Kishore
Chairperson- Everonn India Foundation
Mrs. Jansi is a 46 yr old mother of two and the wife of Mr. Kishore, who is the Managing director of Everonn Education Limited. They have been happily married for 23yrs now.
She was born and brought up in Singapore, along with her two elder brothers and a younger sister. Once married, she resided in the hill town Ooty.
There, she was an active member in several charities and social service organizations and even rose to the heights of being named the District Chairman for the Inner Wheel Clubs of district 320 which covers parts of Kerela and Tamil Nadu. Inner Wheel initially began as the ladies wing of Rotary. It is now a global network of clubs, founded on the basis of friendship and service.
At present she is the membership Treasurer for the International Women’s Association (IWA)
Apart from this, she is also a talented Bharatanatyam dancer and has given several performances on national television in Singapore. She now looks to expand her horizons and is working towards mastering the Mohiniattam style of dance and the Veena.
Mr. P. Kishore
Managing Director– Everonn Education Limited
Mr. Kishore a first generation entrepreneur stared his career with Synergistic Software and Management Consultants in the early eighties but soon his inclination towards entrepreneurial initiatives saw him change track.
Kishore’s passion for education saw the birth of Systems International a partnership firm and his first break towards a national presence came when Systems International bagged the contract for implementing IT Education at 17 schools in 1999.
The need for larger resources to interpret his passion saw the advent of Everonn Systems India Ltd. (ESIL) in the year 2000. The company bagged contract for implementing IT Education to 332 schools in all the 30 Districts of Tamil Nadu, which has now grown to 4442 schools in the ICT vertical and virtual classrooms in over 750 educational institutions supported by a strong talent pool of over 4000 Everonners.
His pioneering efforts saw Everonn go for its IPO in 2007. The performance of the issue (145 times oversubscribed) proved the trust and faith the people vested in Everonn and its promoter Kishore.
Mr. Prakash Damodaran
Mr. Prakash has had a distinguished career with the Indian Administrative Service since 1979 till 2001 with the state governments of Tripura and Tamil Nadu and with the central government at Delhi. He attained the position of Secretary to the Government in the state governments, and held charge of several departments, notably, Industries, Textiles, Planning and Information Technology. He has had the privilege of being the first IT Secretary of the Government of Tamil Nadu from 1998 to 2001. During his tenure in Government, he has also worked as Chairman and/or Managing Director of several public sector enterprises in the manufacturing and financial sectors. In the central government, Prakash was a Commissioner in the Central Vigilance Commission, an organization dedicated to maintaining ethical standards in public service.
Thereafter, as a Director of Media Lab Asia, a joint initiative of the MIT Media Lab, USA and the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India, he set up its advanced research labs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) at Madras (Chennai) and Kharagpur, India, and oversaw their operations.
He is a trustee of the IIT Madras Research Foundation and is actively associated with the IIT Madras Growth Fund initiative.
Mr. Prakash is now a Director on the Board of several companies in both the public and private sectors. In UTI Technology Services Limited, Mumbai, a Government of India company, he has an active role in guiding its technology and strategic planning functions. He manages the affairs of Savant Infocomm Limited, Chennai, as well as 2 other Indian companies of the Singapore based Savant Group of companies.
Mr. Prakash has a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT, Madras, and was conferred its “Distinguished Alumnus” award in 2001. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (Kolkata), India that placed him in its "Honor Roll". Later, as an Edward S.Mason Fellow, he received a Master in Public Administration degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, USA.
Dr. K. M. Marimuthu
Non Executive and Independent Director
Dr. Marimuthu is an M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and is a Ph. D in Genetics & Cytology from Mc Master, Hamilton, Canada. He was formerly Vice Chancellor of Bharatiar University having the distinction holding the post for two terms. Currently he is Professor Emeritus at University of Madras, Chennai. He has served in many universities in India and abroad. He has authored many books and research papers.
Ms. Keerthi Kishore
She has finished her Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communications Engineering from C.E.G., Anna University, Chennai. She’s also a certified scholar from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. She made her foray into the world of business and management at a very young age, when she co-founded a karaoke café in Chennai. She is currently involved in several new projects at Everonn Education.
Keerthi has always held a wide variety of interests; she was editor of her school newspaper, studied Bharathanatyam for several years, and is currently learning to play the Veena.
